The Advanced Course is intended for younger male high school athletes along with our high school female athletes. These athletes will have demonstrated adequate strength and proper technique that has been carried over through their off-season or from the Developmental Course. During this course, we will begin to add more external load and start using more barbell lifts. An emphasis on technique will continue to take priority as athletes learn to produce more force while continually working to reduce the likelihood of injury from sports. Max strength will not be an emphasis but rather the focus on quality movements through full ranges of motion. Athletes will continue to build and improve movement efficiency that will carry over to their unique sport. Acceleration, deceleration, change of direction, jumping, and landing will all be points of emphasis.

The High Intensity Course is recommended for varsity male high school athletes. Athletes will be expected to work at a high level and demand more from themselves than they previously thought possible. As the name implies, this course is our highest level and the athletes will be constantly tested and challenged in an intense but positive environment. Technique and quality movement skills will remain a priority, while an emphasis on strength and power development increases. Athletes will be monitored and evaluated throughout the program to ensure quality movement continues as the volume of work performed increases. Fundamental movement skills will always be emphasized throughout our programs, with the High Intensity course progressively working towards skills that are needed to meet the demands of their sport.

The Foundational Course is aimed at improving young athlete’s coordination and basic movement capabilities. During this critical period of human development our young athletes will learn valuable skills that will benefit them throughout the rest of their lives. Thomas Jefferson once said, “Exercise and recreation are as necessary as reading. I will rather say more necessary, because health is worth more than learning.” As kids are exposed to a variety of exercises, their movement qualities will expand and lay the foundation for them to build from in the future. These skills will be developed through FUN, game-based activities that introduce teamwork and cooperation. In this atmosphere, kids grow to love training through competitive and outcome-based drills. The ultimate aim of the Foundational Course is to teach the athlete basic FUNctional movements that will be necessary as they continue through their journey, while allowing them to explore, play, and foster a love for hard work!

Not only did Performance Course play a major role physically in my career as an athlete, Performance Course taught me the core values of being a great teammate and the concept of character. Performance Course prepared me physically and mentally for high school, college and for the NFL. I was a participant of Performance Course from 7th grade until college and continued to train with PC coaches during breaks. Performance Course staff members are not only great coaches they are great men. I can honestly say I wouldn’t be where I am today without Performance Course.
